We're looking for people to join the team behind Cambridge Pride. If one of these is for you, we'd love to hear from you.
Charity Treasurer
Help steer the finances of The Pink Festival Group (registered charity 1163298), the charity behind Cambridge Pride, and make sure every pound raised is used well to keep Pride free.
What the role involves
- Overseeing the charity's finances and making sure proper financial records are kept
- Presenting clear, regular financial reports to the board so trustees can make informed decisions
- Leading on the annual budget and monitoring income and spending against it
- Making sure suitable internal financial controls are in place and followed
- Overseeing the annual accounts, their independent examination and filing with the Charity Commission
- Keeping our reserves policy under review and advising on financial risk
- Supporting fundraising, grant applications and Gift Aid with financial information
Who we're looking for
- Financial experience, for example in bookkeeping, accounting or managing budgets. A formal qualification is welcome but not essential
- Able to explain financial information clearly to people without a finance background
- Committed to Cambridge Pride's values of equality, diversity and inclusion
- Able to give enough time to attend board meetings and keep on top of the finances through the year
- Eligible to act as a charity trustee (not disqualified under charity law)

Help us organise the event
We're also looking for volunteers to join the working group and help plan Cambridge Pride 2027, giving around 5โ10 hours a month, year round. Email volunteer@cambridgepride.co.uk to tell us which area interests you.

Give us a shift on the day
No experience needed. We will brief and train you before the day, and a team leader will be with you throughout.
Crew
Build the site and keep it running: set-up, take-down, moving kit, and supporting the stages and stalls through the day.
Stewarding
Keep everyone safe and moving: marshalling the parade, staffing entrances, guiding people and answering questions.
Welfare
Look after people who need a moment: staffing the Wellbeing Area and Calm Corner and being a first point of contact.
Flexible, morning or afternoon. Pick the one that suits you.
Anyone aged 18 and over.
A briefing before the day, and a team leader with you throughout.
Volunteer t-shirt, refreshments, a meeting point and a volunteer badge.
